Come and have fun learning the guitar in an environment where you'll feel comfortable and encouraged to develop your interest and passion for guitar.
Learning the guitar will drastically improve your understanding of music theory, relative pitch (knowing the relationship between notes and chords), and musicality.
I will help you develop your confidence and skill through music theory, strumming styles, finger picking, open and bar chords, phrasing, ear training, and performance techniques.
You'll have the opportunity to explore many styles of music, including, classical, contemporary and improvisation.

Guitar lessons – what’s covered?
Understand your instrument - learn about the functions of the guitar including how it produces sound, looking after your instrument and much more
Intonation/Ear training – learn how to play the right notes with confidence by developing your understanding of relative pitch, and practising scales and by grow your fingers muscle memory
Music Theory – learn how to read music, tab and chords whilst playing the guitar by understanding the language and sheet music

Chords – learn how to play a range of barre and open chords on the guitar
​
Strumming and finger picking – learn how to create different rhythms and feelings with different strumming and finger picking styles
Performance – learn how to deliver songs with confidence to live audiences
​
Further development - As you improve, we can look at a plethora of skills and techniques including bends, hammer-ons/pull-offs, vibrato, harmonics etc. There are so many fun techniques to learn as you continue to improve!

Students will get to perform up to 4 times a year!

Lessons available:
Private 1 on 1 - $55/hour or, $35/half hour
Group 2 or more - $30/hour per student
